Dr Google is the worst thing in the world. I always think I'm dying after it. Has it hurt at all - even maybe a few days ago?

Any that I've gotten haven't been very painful. Mostly I notice a lump or my breast is sore and then I notice the lump. But they do go away quickly for me. It can't hurt to see the doctor, but definitely stay away from Google!

When I have gotten them, they hurt when I touched them. Then got worse from massaging. But they will take days to go away.

I have an appointment on Monday to get it looked at. Still hasn't gone away. I'm pretty stressed out about it... I need to stay off Google. :(

If it's sticks around its probably more likely a cyst. I had one and had it checked out and it's fine (but still there).

I've had some stick around for around a day or so. I massaged them before and after nursing, and in the shower. My lumps are almost always just lumpy, not painful.

I have always caught them early and depending on that they may not hurt. I suggest some major massaging in a hot shower. It takes a little detective work but hopefully you'll get that satisfying eureka moment!!

They can definitely stick around after nursing. Mine usually get a little achy but not terribly painful. Try to take a hot shower with breast compression. Or pump with a heating pad on the area. That might help you work it out. If not, definitely have your OB take a look. But I wouldn't worry at this point. Sounds like a clogged duct to me.

I have a small lump in my left breast that I noticed today. I may have noticed it earlier, but I probably assumed it was a plugged duct or engorgement. It doesn't hurt and so far it hasn't gone away with nursing. I'm going to make an appointment to get it looked at, but I'm wondering what the odds are that it's a plugged duct or something related to breastfeeding.

Do plugged ducts always hurt? Can they stick around even after you've nursed/pumped? I'm worrying that it's something more serious, which is why I'm going to make an OB appointment :(
