My family knows about our infertility issues (I'm including aunts &amp; uncles in this) so they know the sensitivity of the issue &amp; don't ask, but extended family don't, so we are asked at gatherings like weddings and graduations. It's uncomfortable, especially after two losses back to back. </p> <p>I have a cousin the same age as me, who has a daughter about a year older than Chloe. His grandmother and mine are sister in laws. There is constant competition over who will have the second great grandchild and its so nerve wracking. I didn't want anyone to know when we were going to start TTC so I would tell them the same thing every time- that we were waiting for LO to get a little more independent because pregnancy sucks for me and I needed her to be able to play on her own if I have a migraine. And then people would say things like, "so is LO getting more independent yet?" Yeah not very subtle....
