Jolly ranchers and sour patch kids worked for me. Also peppermint tea or mints. I tried ginger but the smell and taste made my nausea worse. I hope you feel better soon!

They did help me, but not as much as Unisom. I was able to buy them at BabiesRUs if you have one nearby.

Preggie Pops didn't work for me. what did work was Vitamin B6 and I also took the B-natal lozenges. http://www.bnatal.com/

ALSO popsicles helped and super icy cold water. Nothing else helped even a little bit.

They helped just enough to be worth it. They are not magic. Ginger chews worked better but sometimes the smell of them made it worse, so I'd take the preggie pop drops first.

They help me. I don't vomit often, but I'm pretty much in a constant state of nausea; and the Preggie Pops have helped alleviate the feeling. I tried other (sweet) candies, and they didn't really help me. Mints sometimes work, but not always. I have yet to try other sour candies because once my mom heard I was nauseous, she went out and bought me three packs of the Preggie Pop Drops. :-P I would think that sour candies would have a similar effect, though.

They helped me, one of my students brought me a box of them.

Sierra mist, saltines, crystallized ginger, and changing my prenatals helped to a degree too. Vitamin B and Unisom didn't touch it for me.

Don't be afraid to ask your doctor for an Rx for something. They have been giving women meds for morning sickness for years and years (decades, I think?) so its not some new sort of drug you need to worry they will recall in a year or two. Plus, if you are throwing everything up, its better to take something that will help you keep everything down so you get the vitamins and things you need :)

I really liked drinking ginger tea. My MIL bought me some ginger candy, but I liked the tea better. I liked the Preggie Pops, but other sour candies worked for me too.

I have been trying ginger. I even got the capsules but the just seem to make it worse. :( I am going to try some of your ideas. Hopefully something works... I have a doctor appt on Thurs so if worse comes to worse I will see if I can get something from him.

They didn't work for me at all. Spearmint Altoids did work well for breakthrough nausea (I was on a ton of anti-nausea meds until 20 weeks).

A couple of things that helped me a bit:

sour lemon candy
candied ginger or ginger candy (you can buy this at whole foods)
sour patch kids-- suck the sour sugar off of them and spit them out before they get sweet

I know Motherhood/Destination Maternity carries preggie pops in all their stores.

good luck :(

I have been sick, going on week 3 or feeling sick... And it lasts all day. I don't hurl all day just periodically. I have tried lots of different things to try and get rid of this nausea and nothing seems to work. Anyways I have tried finding preggie pops every where and it is looking like I am going to have to order them on line.

So my question is: Did they work for you? Do you think I should just order them and try it any ways? I just hate wasting my money on things that maybe work. But if they worked for some of you they might be totally worth it.
