We use our plain queen sheets from when we had a queen sized bed... all white, beige, or cream. Then we use fun pillowcases and I bought a twin sized comforter from Ikea and we use fun duvet covers. The twin comforter covers the top of the bed but doesn't drape down the sides of the mattress.

@Foodnerd81: Yeah I did notice that, I guess I've never had a full size set before so wasn't sure the difference. Hopefully we can make it work!

If not, I will check out the suggestions....thanks everyone!!

Pbk has full/queen...We also went with a queen when we just ordered my LO big girl furniture for multiple logistical reasons. There's only like 6 inches difference in a Q and a F, so I guess that's why pbk lists the choice as the same thing.

I'm having a crib bumper made for my LO2 at a local baby boutique and I'm going to look into having a children's queen comforter made from them, so that's always an option too if you have a local store...They have SO MANY different fabrics and cute prints and I think the cost is comparable to a nice bedding store like pbk or land of nod, and you can get exactly what you want.

Most comforters are sized "full/queen" anyway, so it's pretty normal for it to hang off the sides of a queen. Maybe you could get plain queen sheets and a kids comforter that you like?

Amazon, maybe? Pottery Barn has them for sure, but they're more than I want to spend for kids sheeting.

We bought a full size bedding set for LO since that was the size bed we were originally planning on getting her in January. Plans changed and she will be in a queen bed. I have searched and searched for queen size bedding that is geared towards kids but haven't found anything toddler friendly. A lot of it looks to be for teenagers or adults. I don't need characters or anything, but just something that's more age appropriate that LO will think is fun. The set we currently have is horses, from Target. I think we can make it work if we don't find much else we like, and can replace down the road. The fitted sheets definitely won't fit and the comforter won't hang off the sides much but let's face it, I barely make our bed so I can't image hers will get made much :silly:

Do queen bed sets for kids even exist? If so, where is a good place to look?
