We have to bring a swim diaper every Tuesday for this. And now I'm realizing I totally forgot DS's swim diaper today. *facepalm*

We just keep with the cloth diapers at home if just the sprinkler toy is on. The disposables blow up all giant, though!

Makes sense to me. I put LO in a swim diaper for the spray parks. Regular ones just get so swollen it doesn't look like it would be comfortable.

Ditto to the fact that it will get heavy. A lot of kids will sit and play in any puddles that form too. I would be worried about the diaper bursting and lo getting a rash from the gel directly on their skin too.

It makes sense to me. Even with a sprinkler, I could see it getting heavy.

Will they let her use a reusable swim diaper?

I put DD in a swim diaper when we go to the spray ground. As wet as she gets, her diaper gets really full - and it's uncomfortable for her to run around and play.

My daycare has requested that I bring in a swim diaper for when they go outside and play in the sprinklers. I've clarified with them that the kids won't be playing in a pool of water (e.g. no immersion or standing water).

To me, having the kids wear a swim diaper makes no sense. The ground is going to be covered in pee. The swim diaper's purpose is to not weigh babies down in a pool of water, so they don't hold any pee at all.

Am I missing something!?
