I'm glad she's so affectionate. I doubt they kiss, though. I've never seen a teacher kiss a kid anywhere but on a boo boo. </p> <p>I think I hugged teachers all the way through high school. This was my life. </p> <p>But I totally hugged them (I always gave a choice at the beginning or end of the day--hug, hand shake, or high five. But they spontaneously hugged all the time! I had one little boy who chose hand shake every day until the very last morning, when I got a hug! That being said, sometimes a kid just really needs a "real" hug so I will use my professional judgement and give one.
