Marrying for love is something else.</p> <p>I think some of them fall in love, but the majority are just wrapped up in the whole crazy atmosphere. I've heard that they keep a constant supply of alcohol to them, no entertainment (like tv or internet) beyond the activities they do with the bachelor, and on the opening night they don't give them anything to eat really either. The 1st ever bachelor couple got married and it was their 10 year anniversary! So you really can't say it doesn't work cause ONE couple at least made it! There are other couples that got married, but time will tell whether they work out in the long run. </p> <p>And I think the other ones do "fall in love", but later realize they don't fit/work together. But there have been a few couples who have ended up married, seemingly happy. I think its crazy how in love they think they are after 6 weeks or whatever the filming schedule is.
