Edit: I read this question wrong. I was thinking of it from a teachers point of view. I think because I am in the midst of parent conferences for my own class. Yes, I am called mom by LO's teachers but I know they know my name bc they had a conversation about my name being the same as someone else. If I was talking about the parent to the class I'd say "So-and-So's Mom". I felt like saying Mr. or Mrs. was complicated for two reasons. Firstly, I can't assume that they have the same last name as the kid. And secondly, I felt like that would make me sound like I was a kid. I also avoided first names (with the exception of a few) because I had a hard time remembering all of them. (I had around 50 students.)
