We just got one and it definitely stays I'm better, but my almost 6 week old can help move the paci back into his mouth if he looses his grip on it. The animal helps keep it at his mouth and at the right angle. It has been awesome the couple times we've driven since getting it.

Also, it seems to give him something to do with his hands that helps comfort him...he has been holding the legs or the ears of his puppy while sucking the paci. It is adorable!

I think if your LO will take the soothie pacifier, than a Wubbanub is a great help!
K just chews on it....but she won't take any pacifier, so that's not surprising.

it definitely helped. we swore by ours. And, it is easier for them to put them back in at an early age.

Only thing to be aware of is she got so hooked on the soothie, she didn't want the orthodontic kind so we had to stop it cold turkey once she had a lot of teeth (15 months).

Yes - it was easier for DS to find it. He would rub the stuffed animal part in his face to soothe himself. As he got older, I didn't like seeing it hang from his mouth but he gave it up at 15 months.

we only introduced it recently but she LOVES it! she holds the arms and legs and it helps give her control. and sometimes she takes out the paci and just starts eating the arms and legs (teething girl!) it's been a lifesaver for us. it is also the only paci i've seen her take out and put back in.

DD hated the wubnub, it was the shape of the pacifier, she likes Nuk ones. Now that she is older she walks around with the cat and tries to put the paci in her mouth but then realizes its not a Nuk brand and just holds it.
