My toddler boy loves his mommy's boobies. It's my secret weapon for a happy baby on long-haul flights, and my quick test of the seriousness of an injury - if a little Mommy's milk and comfort nursing can calm the cries in under 30 seconds, it's not serious. I've almost never put limits on nursing and he is naturally weaning on his own. We try not to feed more frequently than every two hours but sometimes she gets fussy after an hour and a half and we go ahead and nurse. LO is 3 months old now and when all methods of comforting has been exhausted (rocking, swaying, shushing, etc) then I put her on the boob. When she was younger (she's 7 months old now) she would nurse all the time. It was exhausting.<br /> Now that she's older, she'll only nurse when she's hungry.
