I nursed before bed (before pjs, teeth brushing, story time) until 14 months. He dropped his MOTN feeding about 6 weeks before that, just after his 1st bday.

I always, always nurse DS right before putting him into his crib at night. Last night I had a friend over and it was past DS's bedtime, I knew he was super tired from having little to no nap, so I went ahead and just put him in his crib.

He almost fell right asleep. I had all intentions of getting him up and nursing him, but I realllllly didn't want to wake him up. He didn't wake up until 415am! For us, that's ALMOST STTN! It was amazing. I'm wondering if it was the lack of naps yesterday, or my putting him to bed without nursing him that helped him sleep.
