Although immediately after my LO was born the gifts poured in and it was soooo overwhelming. It felt like every time I saw anyone there was a new gift or even a gift from someone I didn't even know! (Mothers coworkers etc,) I feel a little bad but i didn't write a single thank you post baby. I was just so overwhelmed being a new mom and of course not sleeping I didn't have the time or emotional energy. If people poo pooed about that then who cares to them. I ordered photo cards. I do that a lot and write little messages on them, I don't feel pressured to write a novel when there's a cute picture ;) </p> <p>@chopsuey119: you know what's amazing? Sincerely Ink app! I use it all the time. I'll take a photo of DS with the gift, type a little thank you and you can send directly from the app. No need to handwrite, stamp or mail.
