I would never dream of not tipping the valet, just like I would never dream of not tipping in a restaurant. If I cant afford the tip at a restaurant, I don't eat out. If I can't afford the tip for the valet, I park elsewhere.</p> <p>If the valet lot has a fee, they only get a $1 tip.
