I like Top 40 (because it is so catchy) and he likes Classic Rock and bands like The Who, The Doors, The Grateful Dead (are those classified as classic rock?). We do both like some of the oldies. I can enjoy some of his music if I can sing to it. We both like classic rock, 80s, classic 90s, etc. He likes Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews Band, and Hootie and the Blowfish -- which I do not. I like the Smiths, the Cure, and Depeche Mode -- which he does not. I tend to be more experimental and want to find new music all the time, which he doesn't. It's totally different from my style so I always have to navigate back to my stuff! It surprises me because when we're in my car he always listens to my XM station (44, Hip Hop Nation) and I think he's memorizing all of the raunchy lines, but alone he listens to classic and alternative rock. </p> <p>Do you and your DH have similar or different tastes in music? </p>
