We get along fine. We were best friends until we were probably 10 & 11. He moved away to go to school, then moved about 8 hours by car (traffic driving from MA to DC is scary!) or a short plane ride, so I didn't see him much for the last 8 years. I did go stay with him to take care of him after an injury though. He moved about an hour from me now, so he takes the train in to visit sometimes. I wish we were closer, but we're just not right now. It wouldn't occur to me to call him if I needed help with something.

Absolutely. My husband's sister lives 30 minutes away and we help each other out all the time. My sister lives 3.5 hours away but we help when we can and help with a lot of things via phone or e-mail.

I have one brother who's 2.5 years younger. We fought a lot when we were kids, but now we're super close. After he finished his doctorate, he moved half way across the country to live in the same town as my husband and I. We help each other out a ton - typically I feed him and he provides free labor. Right now he's helping my husband install new laminate flooring in between his double workouts two weeks before an Ironman.

Do you get along with your siblings? Do you help each other out?
