It's an old iron furnace, so there are historic buildings, horses, sheep, and a waterwheel on the property.</p> <p>We go back at least once a year on our anniversary to take pictures. Cliche, but we went to serendipity for our first date, along with a broadway show. He proposed at Oheka castle on Long Island, and there is also a park on the island where we spent a day and had so much fun together. There's an awesome B&amp;B in Leavenworth, WA. We went there a few weeks before our wedding and have returned almost every year. There's a huge picture window just above the doors that allows the sun to beat down on the bed, even during winter.. We found a private beach in Isla Mujeres during our honeymoon. We had to swim around a couple big rocks to get to it (the beach ran into these huuuge rocks), but it was awesome!! It was in front of a FABulous beach house that was boarded up, but there were two permanent chairs in front of it. We figured it was a rich person's vacation house, so we made ourselves at home on this little secluded beach. It was built like a traditional Mediterranean fishing village on the edge of a cliff with sea views. All the apartments were painted bright colours and there were cobbled streets and an amphitheater... We even went on our honeymoon. So I'd day thats our special spot.</p> <p>Also, the St Louis City Museum. It's like an indoor sculture park/play place/climbing gym/circus. Coolest place ever. We went a LOT in the first couple years we were dating and really wanted to get married there (too expensive). The sculptor who built the whole thing died in a freak accident while working on another location a couple years back.
