Last year we didn't fill ours, just for C. Ours are velvet from Target with just a first initial monogram. DH is navy with silver (cowboys fan), mine is emerald with gold (packers fan), C is ruby with silver (Alabama is our neutral football team). I'll have to ask them about it, we spent our younger years in Germany where it's more about St Nick and the spirit of Christmas. I loved going stocking shopping with my Mom to pick out goodies for the family, those are some of my earliest memories.. Mostly high quality chocolate and little items. Nothing fancy, but I do put a lot of thought into it. He felt bad and asked me to create an amazon wishlist with stocking stuffer ideas for myself and our kids so he can have a better idea of what to put in them.
