Like on Sundays, I usually do meal prep for the games while he watches them, then he gets to toss back a few beers with his buddies while I do evening duty (baths, and bedtime). </p> <p>Sometimes, I'll grab dinner with a friend and he'll do evening duties. If we venture out alone with the kids, it can get stressful taking a double stroller on the subway - and up and down stairs!</p> <p>This winter though, it's been too cold to go out on big adventures. So this past weekend, we took shifts with the kids. I took the kids on a playdate to our friends' house last Saturday morning, and then I napped while she took them to the playground and the grocery store. It worked out pretty nicely!</p> <p>Do you and your SO parent side-by-side on weekends? Or do you take shifts spending time with the kids? </p>
