I live on the 3rd floor of a condo building, and our intercom system to the front door doesn't work. I usually assume it's UPS or Fedex so I'll just buzz people in when hear the front door buzzer. We don't have a peephole in our door, but a big-ish window, so if I can see them, they can see me. The dogs are usually barking, so I just talk to them through the closed/locked door. I usually ask them to leave whatever material they have on the porch and I go out and get it later (after they've left).</p> <p>Usually, it's just the UPS or FedEx guy who rings the doorbell/knocks on the door.
