Vaseline is not good for cloth. We use the butt balm or coconut cream when we need it.

I use coconut oil, which is supposed to wash out without causing issues for cloth diapers. I apply front and back at most diaper changes... and definitely if I see any red.

I use the Grovia magic stick. Because it's not a cream, I don't expect it to cause much build-up on our cloth diapers. And I only put it on her bottom, but maybe I'll start putting it on the front area too.

I plan on applying front and back, but I'll be using coconut oil instead of cream or Vaseline.

I just dab the one little red area and let everything else be. I also dry the area with a washcloth after I wipe with the wet wipe so sometimes he doesn't need any cream.
It hasn't built up on the diapers yet. (We only CD sometimes--about 1/2 each day).

I do front and back and yes it does build up inside. I just make sure to wipe really well at each diaper change. We're still using a cloth to wipe though at almost 9 weeks.

My pediatrician recommended using a little vaseline in the ffront around LO's pubic bone, she said pee sometimes goes on that area and using vaseline every so often can protect the skin there. I'm worried that it will cause build up my cloth diapers. Do you think I can use my angel baby bottom balm for this area as well. Do you apply diaper cream to the front and back of your baby?
