So my parents got the flu and tdap shots and we will be asking my MIL-I'm sure she's already up to date since she works with kids. They'll be spending the most amount of time with her before she's been vaccinated. We have to feel out the rest of the family. After that we haven't worried about it. We do ask for flu and pneumonia but don't require it for my husband. If someone was going to be staying for a while (like over a week, in the house) or was going to be long term child care, I might ask, but probably not insist. So, all of our parents and my SIL were asked. The only person who has objected is my SIL because she doesn't like needles. How old will your lo be when you don't worry about that as much? </p>
