I stay away from most clothes with big logos (Gap, ON, TH, etc) and tween clothes (A+F, Hollister, Aeropostale). Most of my clothes are from Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack, so a mishmash of brands, and staples from Gap, Ann Taylor, Old Navy and Target. I'm more lenient for my son, though, cause it's the best and cheapest place for him to get the super hero and Angry Bird gear he loves oh so much. I don't like anything with words, though...especially on the butt. I actually think a lot of it is so cute! But I'm not a fan of too much logo brands emblazoned across a shirt without real thought to a cute design. I hate celebrity brands for that reason, but Jessica Simpson shoes do make a rare appearance in my shoe closet. I avoid places like kohl's, sears, Jcp, and even Macy's at all costs. I won't buy "cheap quality" brands, and lately I've really started disliking Old Navy due to the quality. I like quality brands that don't have to make their label known! @zippylef: I have a Coach I carry daily, but I'm so sick of seeing it everywhere. I don't like abercrombie & fitch or Hollister because their stores are always dark and the music is blaring. (Has anyone else ever noticed that they literally look like the exact same store from the outside lol?) My ex boyfriend worked there and we saw this first hand. I also wasnt too impressed with the hollister models who tweeted the squinty eye photo last fall, but hollister was never my style anyway.
