I had known the guy for years but had literally spoken to the girl for 30min when I had the epiphany that she should meet my friend. The story is very romantic, but the short version is that it was love at first site and they got married. I should mention I met the girl in Paris, they met each other for the first time in Beijing, and now live in my hometown in Missouri. It's totally crazy. I think there are many many many many people in the world that you can be super compatible and deliriously happy with. </p> <p>I'm a scientific person, so I look at numbers. In a world of over seven billion people, the odds of anyone meeting that one person that is their only soul mate is slim to none. Heck, if you put together all of the people I have met in my lifetime, it is only the tiniest of tiny fraction of the people in the world. </p> <p>My husband and I are choosing to be together. As we grow as a couple I learn more and more about him and love him very deeply.
