It's made up of several of my very close friends...we call it a wine club where we sometimes talk about books :) It's fun though, and gives us a set date to hang out with each other each month. We sit around and discuss the book briefly but usually end up talking about other things :). Normally the person holding the book club at their house will choose the book. The person's whose house it is at will provide light appetizers and wine. It moves from persons house to persons house so not one person is spending all the money on food/drinks. Good luck! We took turns picking the book and hosting at our apartments/houses once a month. Our rule was that it had to be a book that no one had read. There were a few that made it into movies so we went to see the movies together, too. And most importantly, there was a lot of alcohol. Everyone always got smashed at book club. Any tips? Things you like/dislike about book clubs? Who chooses the books, do you take turns bringing food, rotate homes for hosting, how often do you meet, etc? </p>
