The one that I am more active in is MOPS, mothers of preschoolers. I love it because twice a month I have two hours where the kids are in child care and I get to talk with other moms. You do your pre-natal classes at them, rather than at the hospital and then they have classes for babies and toddlers. One of their main jobs is to help new moms create connections and access resources/help if needed. I've met some great moms through our centre and have formed a sort of informal mini-group with 3 of the other moms who just clicked with each other. I would like to visit the EMOM group, and should I like my visit I think I'll join :) I learned about both via word of mouth and then I went to trusty Google and they popped up there too!!!
