@Bao: dhs parents toilet must be odd shaped because there is nowhere for her to hold on and she was literally in the potty this morning! Lol

Nope, she just holds onto the seat and balances if we are at one that is more like an at home toilet. If it's very public-like then I'll just hold her under her arms.

We've taken our potty seat with us for trips. It came with us down South in my husband's backpack. We left it at my parents' house recently and got another one. For weekend excursions out shopping, park, etc, we have a folding one. LO is day trained to sit on the potty. We haven't attempted standing up yet.

We never have but I have a boy and he learned how to pee standing up pretty quickly. :silly: Not sure what we will do when it's DD's turn to be potty trained. That said, I usually carry antibacterial wipes so I can wipe down the toilet if he needs to sit (since he puts his hands on the seat).

My 28 month old is recently potty trained. She likes to go by herself and that's fine. We're traveling this weekend and we didn't bring her seat. She can't sit in the regular potty by herself because she falls in, her butt is so small!

I had to hold her on the potty and she makes me close my eyes while she goes. I guess I need to go out and buy one because it hurts my back to crouch down 65 times a day!
