We just got a hand-me-down crib mattress but I'm starting to think we should've bought an organic one...

I'm more strict about it for LO than myself. I buy available organic food for us (I use the list of the clean 15/dirty dozen).

She's had bits of non-organic food (pieces of a roll, I got a regular butternut squash yesterday, grocery only had store brand prune juice) but any baby food I buy is organic.

for her skin, I use Burt's Bees and aquaphor.

cleaning, I use vinegar/water, method and I do have lysol wipes.

toys I'm just picky for bpa free - she definitely has lots of plastic toys (fisher price, little tikes, sassy, etc), but I hide away any "no name" ones.

We buy organic fruits and veggies and make our own baby food. We also have bought organic pouches (Plum Organics, Happy Baby) for food when traveling. I've also started to buy organic foods for our consumption as well, such as organic chicken and beef.

For skincare, we've been using California Baby and Mustela.

Skin care & food. That's it. Skin care includes wipes, laundry detergent (as natural as it comes anyways) baby lotions and creams from Babyganics.
Food, I'll buy lo's stuff from either Earth's Best or if it is a snack, I'll buy the Organic gerber version.

We are 100% organic when it comes to LO's food. We love Plum Organics, Earth's Best, and Happy Baby for baby food. We occasionally use Gerber Organic too. As far as other natural/organic products, we use California Baby products for bath/shampoo, lotion, and sunscreen. LO's crib mattress is organic (Colgate Eco Classica III Eco-Friendly Mattess available on Amazon). We like Green Sprouts teething toys/rings and make sure that all bottles, sippy cups, spoons, bowls, etc...are BPA free (our bottles are Born Free, which I LOVE).

I use Earth Mama Angel Baby for her toiletries (love their shampoo/body wash!). Method for laundry and cleaning supplies. Hudson Organic for clothing.

I try to within reason and if I can afford it. The baby crib mattress and mattress pad are Naturepedic. I have some organic clothing, though that's usually not intentional. I will try to feed organic fruits and vegetables though once we start feeding solids (and try to make my own purees). So far we are just using BabyGanics and Coconut Oil for baby skin care stuff.

I like Kate Quinn & Nui for clothes. Earth Mama Angel Baby for shampoo/soap, lotion, bottom balm & nipple butter. I just bought a Green Sprouts (by iplay) wooden rattle --their stuff seems pretty cool.

No babies yet, but I will definitely try to buy natural products as much as I can when the time arrives. I'm reading Slow Death by Rubber Ducky right now, and it's shocking.

Have you checked out vine.com? I think you'd like the site, and they have weekly deals.

If so, what are some of your favorite brands or items? I try to get as many natural items as I can, and I do find the quality to be worth the money, but sometimes the price is just too much to fit our budget. You can add any baby food items to your list of favorites too!
