@PawPrints: I haven't gotten a lot but I did get some cute sandals last year! I ended up going with a brand I knew was decent (Nine West) and they have been great! I also just got a swim cover up that was great and affordable but i am not sure if that counts as clothes?

Just recently I started to buy clothing, but it's only after researching the brand's own site first. Amazon doesn't do a great job describing clothes and fit IMO.

I've bought a lot of clothes and shoes from amazon in the past, shipped internationally. I only buy from amazon as the seller, and its been about 70% good so far, with a few that I have had to return. I bought a dress for my eldest DD's baptism a few years ago, and now I'm looking on amazon again to buy another (Eliza J).

I have; I also only pick stuff that has free return, reviews help if they have them.

I've bought a few things (clothes, shoes, tights) on amazon and have had good experiences. Come to think of it, the pants I'm wearing right now are from an amazon purchase...NYDJ Alina skinny jeans. I'd just read the reviews, etc and make sure it looks like a reputable source, etc.
Eta, I only order from places that are free returns.

I've had ok experiences. Just be sure to read all the reviews, especially about fit.

I've bought some undergarments (I had a hard time finding a slip the right length, and the spanx prices were good), and cardigans when I've been looking for a specific color I was having a hard time finding in a store.

@Littlebit7: Yeah I feel mostly the same way. I'm lazy about shipping stuff though - when I return things I bought online I usually do it at the brick & mortar store since I work in the middle of downtown and I'm within a few blocks of like every store in the known universe. Except Amazon. Of course. So.... hoping for some recommendations. :)

@LuLu Mom: Thanks!

I've had mixed experiences with amazon clothing. Some stock seems like its TJ maxx/last season/weird styles or the discount versions of some major brands. For example I bought a trina turk swing dress before we went on vacation. When it arrived the quality just wasn't on par with other TT stuff I have purchased in the past.
Other brands I've never heard of had been a 50-50 toss up. I've loved some things and a lot of things have gone straight back. I'd say as long as you have free returns, you don't have much to lose.

I bought a great utility jacket, it was cheap so I was worried but the quality is great!

http://www.amazon.com/Vedem-Womens-Hooded-Drawstring-Military/dp/B00IIHTXPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1463594599&sr=8-1&keywords=green+utility+jacket

I'd go up a size to be safe if this is in your style.

I haven't, but some friends have found things they liked. I think the key is to choose items with free returns!

I have an Amazon gift card to spend, and the only thing I can think of that I want to buy is clothing. Their clothing is weird to navigate though, it's hard to tell the quality from the crap. Have you purchased dresses or tops or blouses on Amazon that you would recommend?
