If I have to pay to rent a movie from Amazon I'd much rather buy it used and have full access to it than be cut off after 24 hours. We sold/gave away a lot of them while preparing for D's arrival (needed the closet space for baby stuff). Now we only buy ones that we want to have full collections of. For example, I think the last DVD we bought was the first Hunger Games movie, and we're buying Catching Fire today.
