We use a home care provider so I would for sure call, but we haven't had a sick day yet **knocks on wood furiously**

Yeah we always call, or they actually get worried, I've had them call me when I was late one day.

Yes. It's not policy but I think it is courteous to do so in case it affects their staffing in any way for the day.

Calling in such a good idea especially if a no call/ no show prompts them to call 911 in case of an actual emergency.

Yes. It's not in their policy but I do it anyway just to help them plan their day. There are only 8 kids so one makes a big difference to them.

Yup. I think it helps with their daily planning. I know they consolidate the two infant classes sometimes when many babies are out.

Honestly, I don't often.

For one, sometimes she's just home with a little something or we let her sleep in with the hopes that she could go in around noon. If I call, then they give me grief when we try to take her in. And sometimes, she is just out with a fever or runny nose but we don't take her to the doctor. And again, they give us grief about not taking her in.

Not usually, especially if it is only one day. If she is sick with something contagious then I would of course call to give them to give a heads up
