I'm a total overpacker by nature, I've learned to scale it back for myself, but have no doubt it'll kick back in with full force for LO!

I'm a total overpacker but it's only because I don't want to regret not bringing something. I like to prepare for the "you never know" moments. I would've totally packed like you did!

@Baby Boy Mom: She is much better, thank you! Otherwise we wouldn't go, it's a camping trip with other kids and I wouldn't want to risk getting the other kids sick. But after her not feeling well for so long I just want to be extra careful!

@artbee: If she's sick then that's definitely a whole different ballgame! Hope she feels better soon!

@creativemomma15: My diaper bag has EVERYTHING! DH gets upset because it's so heavy, but then he always expects me to have anything and everything he could ever want, and of course I do!

@Baby Boy Mom: No need to be sorry! We all have different ways of doing things, life would be boring if we all felt the same way about things! I should add that LO has recently been sick with diarrhea though so I'm erring on the side of caution more than I normally would. She's finally getting better, but I don't want something to upset her stomach while we're camping and not be prepared for the worst.

I would lean towards over-packer- sorry! I tend to err on the side of less (like I might take the different kinds of pj's but not 3 of each). The first trip we took with LO I brought way too much stuff, and I have since changed my ways, because it just made everything cumbersome for me. Obviously I take more than we use at home in case of accidents etc but I try not to pack too much.

I'd say prepared for everything :) I am the same way too... our diaper bag is filled to the brim because I always have plenty of clothes, bibs, and burp cloths packed!

I'm packing for a camping trip. When it comes to packing for myself I pack light, but for my LO it's a different story. It's supposed to be warm during the day and chilly at night so I have to be prepared for all weather. Then I'm like what if it's just mild at night, or what if it's freezing? I have to have all types of PJ's for her and 3 pairs of each in case she has an accident every single night. There are washer and dryers there... but who wants to be doing a wash on vacation?

So even though my LO's clothes are teeny tiny, her bag will be ten times the size of mine. Ok that's a little bit of an exaggeration :)
