At first when he woke up I'd change him and always find poop and then I'd feed him after. Maybe around a month or so we started doing just one change at night after feeding. I would always find her totally dry. So now I never change her at night. It makes wakings less than 10 minutes and we usually both get back to sleep very quickly. As she got older, she stopped doing that, thank goodness. I haven't had any problems with rash or anything doing it that way. L (1 month old) only wakes up for a little snack (like 1 oz) once or twice in the middle of the night and since she normally takes a long time to be out back to sleep, I leave it if it's just pee. </p>
