Every now and then we'll sneak in as quietly as possible to look at him, but it's rare (and usually on days when there are bad stories about babies/kids on the news). I always go and put a hand on her chest, even if I can see/hear her breathing, and then run my hand over her hair a few times and whisper that mummy loves her. Lately she's been impossible to get down before 9 because of two to three bottom teeth peeking through. That and she has to have the house completely and utterly dark and quiet. Ugh. </p> <p>With DS pre-toddler rails, I just plopped him in his crib, he'd put himself to sleep, I'd see him in the morning. No fuss. No monitor. Now woth the toddler rails I often have to walk in, make sure he's in bed and okay. Otherwise I lay in bed awake for 20 minutes before falling asleep.
