Every night before I got to bed, I have to check on him to make sure he's still breathing. He's 2 and we have a video monitor still. :)

Yep! We have a video monitor but we still usually go in her room every night and put the blanket over her. Plus we miss her and just want to see her.

Since I packed up the monitor about a year ago I check on him before I go to bed and he's 2.5. It's mostly to take out the model cars he wants to take to bed so he's not rolling on hard metal during the night.

LO2 still has multiple night wakings, so after I tend to her, I always go into DS's room. He usually kicks his blankets off, so I cover him again.

Yes, but on the monitor to make sure she's still covered by her blanket. She likes to kick them off and given the recent freeze, I'll go in and put them back on if needed.

No...and we don't have a video monitor either. I am afraid I'd wake them up since our doors are old and click somewhat loudly when closing. I can usually hear breathing/shifting over the regular monitor though.

I always look on the video monitor because I like looking at her anyway. Sometimes I'm crazy and watch really closely to see her breathing. We rarely go in to check though, lately only if we want to cover her up since it's cold and now she gets a blanket.

Nope. We went on vacation with my in laws in September & MIL insisted that I check on LO every single time she was sleeping despite the fact that I knew she was fine. Everyone has different concerns!!

I check to see if she's breathing sometimes--I do it at naps when she's been napping for longer than usual too. I know, I'm paranoid! She's 10 months old and is always fine. We don't have a monitor--and honestly, even if we did, I would probably check on her anyway. I like to just rest my hand on her back and feel her move a little. Luckily she's a sound sleeper so it's never bothered her. I guess it's partially a paranoid thing and part just a fairly-new-mom-attached-to-her-adorable-sleeping-baby thing.

Or before you go to bed? I check on them on the video monitor but I only go in there if I need to adjust them. Usually LO1 is laying weird and uncovered, so I will go in and get her cozy again. LO2 is usually ok but I will go in if I want to "make sure she is breathing" now and then, especially if she hasn't moved in a while, or made a peep, it helps me sleep better if I check.
