Sometimes do, sometimes don't. I tend to freeze in batches so the freshest one is straight from the tap :)

I exclusively froze all milk so it went straight to the freezer.. I even added fresh milk to an already frozen bag all the time, even though I don't think you are supposed to do that.. Never had any issues..

I don't. I actually find that my milk smells spoiled if I put it in the fridge.

I can't find it now but I feel like I heard the recommendation to chill because it was a more gradual change in temp - so for some reason better at preserving all the good stuff in the milk. Anyway, my take would be that perhaps it's optimal to chill before freezing, but not that there's anything wrong with going straight from pump to freezer. I wouldn't worry about it!

I do, but only because I wait until I have a bunch of bags in the fridge and bring a handful down to the deep freezer in the basement all at once. It helps me keep them organized by date. But that's the only reason I do the fridge first.

I never did that until I had to pump at work and kept pumped in milk fridge at work 'til home freezer!

I never did that. I would personally assume you are fine. It's probably just so you don't raise the temperature in your freezer but honestly I would think that'd be minimal unless you are pumping 100s of ounces or something!

I was just reading through some milk storage materials and it says that you should chill your freshly pumped milk in the fridge before adding it to the freezer. I have 250 oz in our deep freezer and have never done this. I've always just pumped into the storage bags, squeezed the air out, then added it to our deep freezer. I hope the milk is ok!!
