I would think it sounded strange for an American to say water with a clearly pronounced 't' It's like Clinton where most people say something like, 'Clin'in.' Not to threadjack so feel free to ignore me, but one that has always bothered me is the word 'comfortable.' I've tried but I just *can't* say anything other than 'comf-ter-bul.'  LOL
