Yes. LO has had his own bed but it's right next to ours. We make it a point to put him to sleep in his own bed, but he eventually ends up in ours, usually around 6 in the morning. I'm good with that. I'd so much rather nurse him in the morning and get a couple extra hours of sleep.

Nope. She never has and has never wanted too. Even as a newborn she would just want in her rock and play. She likes her space! I wouldn't mind the extra snuggles sometimes.

Yea, she doesn't even have a crib. We bought a king size bed while I was pregnant specifically for cosleeping. I LOVE it. I can't imagine not having her close for so long. And she sleeps 6-8 hour stretches, so it's working great on that front.

Yes! I never did with my first, but my second (3 months) is so high needs and is a very light sleeper. I find it easier just to have her there so I can tend to her when she wakes up (a billion times a night  ). I'm setting a deadline though...at 4 months I'm going to try to put her in her own crib.

We have done a couple nights but DS (5.5m) thinks it is just an all night buffet.
For his first 4 months he was in a crib in our room. Now his crib is in his own room. I think that transition was harder for me than him. He does fine so far.

@Ash: DS is a heavy roller so he's all over the place, although he favors me a bit more. If he ends up on DH's side, DH will just get up, put a body pillow in his place to keep DS from rolling off and sleep on the floor or couch in the living room.

For me, I just tough it out unless it's impossible for me to sleep (which is currently the case since my belly needs more room than 6"). I flip the other way and put my head at the foot of the bed and my feet towards the head of the bed and still act as a barrier for DS.

We didn't at all with our first child, but was short on space with our second and pretty much co-sleep from birth night 1, on. In March (13 months) we transitioned to a crib, and it has been crib part of the night, bed part because she doesn't STTN. This past weekend we moved crib into DS's room to get her to STTN, and let's just say I am sleeping much better!

DS is only 3 weeks - I usually have him sleep on/with me one wakeup during the night, generally the one I'm most exhausted and can lay him next to me to nurse then pass out.

Yes! We kinda fell into it and still going strong. DD is 11 months. We don't plan to stop for now, so we are thinking about bringing her crib in and start getting her to sleep in there side-carred to us. DH can pass out anyhow, and I don't mind (or got used to) having her next to me. We all STTN so we're gonna keep doing it!

@mediagirl: pretty much the opposite of your sleep arrangements -

LO goes to bed with me and when DH gets home from work (he works nights) he moves him to his bed.

We part-time co-sleep. If/when our 7-month old wakes up needing to be fed after 1:30-2:00, DH will go in and brig him back to bed so I can nurse him. If it's earlier in the evening/night, I will nurse him in his room and put him back to bed in his crib. We may try some sort of sleep training in the next few months, but right now it is mostly working for us.

@Alivoo01: my dh asked if they make anything bigger than a king (he's usually the one hanging off the bed and getting kicked in the face)! 😣 I vowed to not bring dd into bed because of not knowing how to transition ds out but that was a total fail. Let me know how it goes!

Yup, us and the 3 year old and 18 month old in a king size bed. The 18 month old used to start off in his crib but lately he's not having it. I don't sleep great but it would be worse waking up and getting out of bed every time they cried. They need me to sleep. Oh well, I'll sleep one day.

No, not unless he's sick. We all sleep so much better when he's in his own bed...he's a very restless, starfish sleeper, and wakes himself up when he smacks me in the face (or rolls on top of me, or kicks D). When he's sick he pretty much wants to sleep on top of me. He comes in to our bed some nights, and might cuddle for a minute or two (or more if he's had a bad dream), but he wants to go back to his bed pretty fast (no matter who suggests it).
