DS1 loved co-sleeping, but he knew that it was temporary since we were staying in a special hotel. We reminded him that once we came back home we would return to our normal sleeping arrangements. It took about two nights for him to adjust at home. </p> <p>My 9 month old was not a fan of sleeping in his travel crib. He enjoyed being back in his own room when we returned. I could never sleep with her in my bed because I'm afraid I'd smother her (heavy sleeper) but this past week we were at my parents and had to share a room. It was so hard. Every time I moved, she moved and I was afraid she would wake up. At 5:30am, she would be up yelling at me, "mommymommymommymommy!" She would usually come into the bed for 10 minutes or so, and spend that time kicking me in the head.
