I used to combine to make 4-5 oz bottles or freezer bags (depending on how old LO was at the time.)

Yep, I make 4oz bottles or bags. If I have any left that doesn't come out to 4, I put it in a bag. Sometimes you need a few Oz here or there.

I pump into 2.5 oz tubes and have a set of them by the end of the day. I then pour those into bottles for daycare at night. I will combine into bags if I don't have multiple clean tubes for the day and just put all of that session together. I have to portion it out at the end of the day, so I just label how much there is (even if it's only 2 oz).

I pump into the same bottles all day long because I don't make very much. Then DH divies out the milk into what we send to daycare the next day. Extra gets frozen or saved in the fridge for later in the week if my supply dips (it ebbs and flows all the time).

When you pump several times a day, do you combine all the milk into one (or several) bags or bottles? i'm only at work part time, so it's kinda confusing, but i'm wondering if i should combine the whole days pumping sessions and then split them into the appropriate sized bags/bottles at the end of the day?
