Also sometimes she nurses for 45 minutes or so and most of the time she isn't really sucking. We have a routine of nursing after work and daycare (when she probably doesn't *need* it but it's just what we do now). She will also nurse overnight if she wakes up frantic. So, those times, I guess are comfort nursing. But she has NO interest in nursing if there isn't any milk coming out... which is fine with me since I'd prefer not to be used as a pacifier anyhow. But it always impresses me when people say their LO will nurse even if there's no milk flowing. </p>
