I'm a "it takes a village" parents, and it would just be nice to have a little community with the school. I also chat with other parents when we run into them around town. No formal communication. There was an orientation before the school opened its doors, but otherwise, no meet &amp; greet for all of the parents. We've talked about starting a private FB group for the parents of the LO's who attend. I received an email with all student's parent's email addresses (in the cc), and I wonder if it's appropriate to email them about joining a group. </p> <p>I wouldn't expect for it to be a secret, but I also like the idea of having a place to talk with the other parents without the teachers being there. </p> <p>Sneaky or okay? Do you wish you had this? Or, are you part of something like this, and wish you weren't? </p>
