A lot of businesses compost in Seattle.</p> <p>I want to compost but the DH won't let me. We live in an apartment so we don't have a yard. We would have to get those worms that break down compost. DH didn't like the idea of having worms in a Rubbermaid container underneath our kitchen sink. I could sepearate out our compost but I would have to drive it 15 minutes to get rid of it. </p> <p>Thinking about it, 15 minutes isn't that bad. We live in an apt building, so we can't use the compost ourselves, but our local farmer's market has a collection every weekend. We keep it in the freezer in a 184 oz tupperware with a flip lid lined with a plastic grocery bag, and drop off a big brick of frozen scraps every Sunday. I love it, DH tolerates it.
