We barely use our heat/AC. Our laundry is HE &amp; we only run it when we have a full load. Same the the dishwasher. We only use engery saving lightbulbs &amp; don't leave them on. Our night lights are motion activated. We open/close drapes to help with temp inside. We keep most electronics plugged into a power strip that can be shut off when not in use. I still like night lights and a little lamp left on in the kitchen at night.
