Then, to be honest, I just lost track. I never understood how parents remember hundreds of words that their kids can say? Do they write them all down? My memory got worse after #2, so I imagine I'll lose track even earlier with DS, lol. These posts don't seem real to me (sure there are exceptions, but the number of such statements is overwhelming) and they don't seem to happen on HB. I was just wondering if you ladies actually count words?</p> <p>I never was really one to do this, but I have counted on occasion just to make sure LO meets the recommended number of words at a given age, then I stop counting, even if he knows more. I also have a hard time not counting a word a word unless it is said clearly and used correctly each time. </p>
