It sounds ridiculous, but my eyelashes are long and I spend way too much time getting then *just so,* because that Shu curler spoiled me! So if they don't look new-Shu perfect, lol, it annoys me! That would be pretty impossible to be better anyway:) @caffeinated: They used to, but about a year and a half ago or so Shu Uemura pulled out of the US completely. You can only get it from the Shu website ever since and shipping isn't free until you hit $50. Sucks! I generally replace mine every 8 or 9 months bc it starts to lose oomph, so the 3 I bought today to get the discount & free s/h will last me FOREVER!!!
