Basically I divided the house into 7 parts. For me it was: Bedroom, Extra BR, Living Area, Kitchen, Bathrooms, Entryway/hallway, Office (the office isn't really a physical room, but a box of paperwork and bills). </p> <p>I assigned each space to a different day based on my part-time work schedule as some are easier and faster than others. So each day that particular space would be the focus. I didn't always clean it from top to bottom or anything like that, but it was just a way to keep up with routine cleaning (dusting, washing towels, paying bills, etc.) and decluttering. </p> <p>I really liked it because it helped me stay on top of things without having a whole day of cleaning and feeling exhausted afterward. I also have (and still stick to) a daily schedule for laundry so that each person/category has a day, with diapers twice a week. So, I designate everything until then.<br /> Of course, I do clean every.single.day, but that is only about 230 minutes of...laundry, dishes (wiping counters, changing trash bags), and making beds.
