I didn't have an overly unusual or terrifying experience. I try to be mindful of the fact that it's a personal journey and avoid giving advice. I didn't want an epidural going in, but ended up with one. I think talking about it helped me cope. I wasn't going and telling strangers but if people asked i didn't mind talking. I did feel bad when a friend who was pregnant called and was asking for details and then she said she was scared and ended up crying later - whoops. It pretty much never comes up now, my youngest just turned 2 and I have a much less emotional, summarized version when it does come up. </p>
