Our only child is 6.5 months old. We don't turn the tv on when he is around/awake. (There were a few exceptions when I was nursing him when he was a newborn.) Unfortunately he is increasingly interested in my iPhone so I have to pare back my use around him. My husband likes to watch TV after the baby goes to sleep sometimes, but I pretty much never turn it on. We might get rid of it when our son is older.

Yep, no screentime Monday thru Thursday, and usually Friday too. We let them have quite a bit of screentime on the weekends, if we're home, and we bring a tablet with us when we're out and about.

My LO gets screen time pretty much everyday. I can't cook dinner without her being occupied or else she is asking me to come play with her over and over. I try to let her help make dinner but she gets bored with that as well.

We let her watch one 20 minute show on weeknights after dinner. It strangely seems easier for her to transition to going to bed after a show ends / we say "good night" to whatever character she was watching, vs if we are playing and tell her its bedtime she gets super upset and doesn't want to stop.

On the weekends it varies, sometimes we are super busy and don't have time, others if we are stuck in the house we probably watch too much!

For sure!
During the week if they get TV it makes bedtime much harder - so I usually skip it!

Weekends is an open book - some times they watch none, sometimes they watch tons!

It is the opposite here. My kids are more likely to get a show during the week since I am solo. There is less TV watching during the weekend when DH is home. Our weekends are jam packed!

Weekdays there is no tv. Weekends we put cartoons on for an hour or so first thing. Honestly though he watches maybe 10-15 minutes total.

On the weekdays very little, but weekends when my husband is home we're more relaxed. He's an avid sports watcher so there's usually baseball/golf/football on in the background.

Absolutely. Monday through Thursday almost no screens. Friday when I get home I kick back and let them watch. Also Saturday and Sunday mornings if they're behaving ok and occasionally a soccer game or football game.

Yes. If I turn on tv during weekday it's easy for him to get hooked. There's pretty much zero screentime weekdays. Weekends we let him watch a few shows he likes.

We try to minimize weekday screentime, just because if we don't then we notice that the kids' behavior gets worse. (Not true for everyone - but definitely true for our kids.) We are a bit more lax on weekends... I looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons as a kid, so it seems only fair.
