We don't turn the tv on when he is around/awake. (There were a few exceptions when I was nursing him when he was a newborn.) Unfortunately he is increasingly interested in my iPhone so I have to pare back my use around him. My husband likes to watch TV after the baby goes to sleep sometimes, but I pretty much never turn it on. I can't cook dinner without her being occupied or else she is asking me to come play with her over and over. My kids are more likely to get a show during the week since I am solo. There is less TV watching during the weekend when DH is home. (Not true for everyone - but definitely true for our kids.) We are a bit more lax on weekends... I looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons as a kid, so it seems only fair.</p> <p>Do you distinguish between weekday screentime and weekend screentime? </p>
