So now that they are doing "N" this week I did a bunch of "N" words with her before school. When they assigned "K", we bought her the first kite and went flying in the park. Today he actually spelled his daycare teacher's name (S-A-N-D-Y), which isn't something that we taught him... so someone must've spelled it in front of him. So I got all excited and brought him and told him to spell all of our names (which we did formally teach him using Cowgirl's name songs)... and he couldn't remember any of them. I guess it's been a while since we reviewed them.</p> <p>So now I'm mapping out a plan to master the alphabet and spelling together. Gotta strike while the interest is high!</p> <p>Do you do any formal teaching or map out any lessons/learning plans with your LOs? </p>
