I was born on 3/31, 3 days after Three Mile Island nuclear facility had a near melt-down. On April 1st, my mom's nurse came into her hospital room and told her that the hydrogen bubble at the plant had burst, and the hospital was clearing out - everyone was leaving. Then she left. There's my mom, a new mom with a 24-hour-old infant, totally freaking out. The nurse came back a few minutes later and said "April Fools!" My mom was mad, but let it go.
